A Perfect Match - Focus on Herriott Grace

We have stores both here in the UK and abroad who stock our products. They come to us for our simple, pared down style and handcrafted quality that makes each piece feel both individual and special. Herriott Grace is one such store in Toronto, Canada.  It's a fascinating father-daughter venture. Lance and Nikole Herriott live 3,400 kilometres apart: his workshop is in Victoria, British Colombia, her studio in Toronto. Lance used to send Nikole packages of his own hand carved spoons made from wood he had collected over the years. Nikole loved them, and recognising the care that had gone into making each piece, she decided to set up a shop to sell them along with other handcrafted pieces.  Lance agreed to her plan, but only wanted her to share his work "with people that understood and cared about the time and effort spent on each piece".  Nikole told him, "Leave it to me, I know just the sort."

And that's how Herriott Grace was born.  Now Nikole runs her small shop selling an array of hand carved and hand turned wooden objects including spoons, wooden boards, bowls and rolling pins as well as other crafted pieces. Our porcelain tableware with its rustic, tactile quality, sits beautifully amongst the wooden spoons and rolling pins.  It could be said to be another perfect match.
