Delivery

As we are a very small business, we aim to dispatch your John Julian pieces as soon as we can and this can be up to 7 working days providing the pieces are in stock. Our ceramics have been crafted over many hours and so we ensure they are wrapped very carefully. Once your order has been dispatched we will send you a unique reference number so that you can track the progress of your order.
UK mainland deliveries are sent with ParcelForce on 48 hour delivery.

Some couriers are currently experiencing delays in their services for UK and international deliveries. We will make sure that we have packed and booked your order on for dispatch with the courier as soon as we can within our 7 working day window. However please allow a little more time for your pieces to reach you due to the courier delays.

We try to keep our delivery costs as low as possible for our customers but our pieces are reassuringly heavy so it does mean that delivery costs are a little higher. In the interests of the environment, we try to re-use packing materials where possible.

International Delivery
We ship our products all over the world and welcome International customers.

The delivery charge for your order will calculate in your basket but if you have any questions about international delivery please email us for a quote. Delivery times will vary depending on your location and the time of year but we will send you a tracking link so that you can monitor the progress of your parcel once your order has been dispatched.

Please note that international packages may be subject to customs, duties or other fees that are calculated by country. The customer is responsible for paying any and all customs duties and fees.

Click and Collect

During November we are trialling a click and collect option for our local customers from the John Julian Workshop. Orders will be able to be collected on Wednesdays and Fridays between 1200 and 1400 from 10th November – 26th November. We sadly cannot accommodate collection outside of these times.

Please allow 48hrs from placing your order when you book your collection slot to allow us time to prepare and pack it.

Please also be aware that the workshop and studio is not open to visitors at this current time – all pieces must be pre-ordered online as we sadly can’t allow any shopping from the doorway.

Returns

QUALITY & RETURNS

We hope that you will be happy with our products and appreciate their hand crafted qualities. It is important to note that our artisan production methods are devised to produce products with individual character. It is a central part of our ethos that the human hand is evident in the final product and therefore no two items that we produce are ever absolutely identical.

Of course, if you are unhappy with a product and wish to return it we will gladly make a full refund (excluding original postage unless the item is faulty). Please contact us in the first instance at info@johnjulian.co.uk and we will be happy to help.

On returning your items, please ensure that you return it to us within 28 days from receipt of your order. Returns can be made to our workshop by Royal Mail or courier for large or heavy items.

Returned items must arrive back with us in new condition, unused and in their original packaging. As our products are ceramic and therefore breakable, we advise that you ensure your return is well wrapped with a clear FRAGILE sticker placed on the package. We regret we are unable to refund items that arrive back with us broken or damaged.

The cost of Returns postage is your responsibility unless the item is obviously faulty.

Please state the reason for the return. We will refund the credit or debit card or the Pay Pal account of the person who originally placed and paid for the order. Please note that it may take up to 10 working days for the credit to appear on your statement.

Damages

We take every care to ensure your ceramics are properly packaged during shipping but appreciate that occasionally damages may occur. We will replace or refund products damaged during delivery if photographic proof of damage is sent to us within 7 days of delivery.
